Travel Sunday through Thursday for the best rate. Groups of 6 or more usually save by booking a Private tour, with the van all to yourselves.

Peak weekends (Thanksgiving, Valentine's, spring break, Wine & Wildflower Journey, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Oktoberfest and Food & Wine Fest): Classic $125 per guest, Private $1,195 per van. Existing bookings and gift cards are always honored exactly as purchased. Prices are per guest unless noted. Gratuity is always appreciated and never automatic.
Both give your group its own Mercedes Sprinter and driver. The difference is who plans the day.

How tastings work
We plan the route and reserve every stop. At each winery, you choose how you want to enjoy it.
A tasting flight at all three wineries, reserved and paid ahead, so it's ready when you sit down. Add it when you book or any time before your tour.
Not a big taster? Order a glass, a bottle to share, or a single tasting at each stop, and pay the winery directly.
Already a member at one of our stops? Bring your card. Many clubs include a complimentary tasting or glass for members, and sometimes a guest.

Private transportation
For groups who want the van without a guided tour. Every booking includes a professional driver, a clean Mercedes Sprinter for up to 11 guests, water and a cooler for your bottles.
Build your own day of wineries, lunch and shopping. $165 per van per hour Sun–Thu, $185 Fri–Sat, 5-hour minimum. Two vans available for bigger groups. You plan the day and book your own tastings, or ask us to help.
San Antonio (SAT) and Austin (AUS) pickups and drop-offs for your whole group, timed to your flight. Request a quote.
Guest shuttles between your venue and in-town lodging, rehearsal dinners and bachelorette nights. Request a quote.
Saturday availability is limited during peak season. Prices are per guest unless noted. Gratuity is always appreciated and never automatic.
Wineries we visit
Our tours rotate through favorites along Highway 290 and around Fredericksburg, depending on the season and availability.
Yes. It's a shared tour for couples and small groups. If you'd like the van to yourselves, book the Private tour.
The Classic tour runs 1:00 to 5:00 PM, about 4 hours. The Private tour usually runs 1 to 5 PM as well. Add extra time for $175 an hour, like a noon start.
Three wineries on every tour, and we reserve every stop for you.
Tastings are an add-on, so you only pay for what you want. Add the Tasting Pass ($89 per person) for a reserved tasting flight at all three wineries, order a glass at each stop, or use your wine club member perks. We reserve every stop either way.
We pick up and drop off at your vacation rental or hotel inside the Fredericksburg city limits, or you can meet us at our office at 709 W Main Street. Private tours can start outside town for a flat travel fee: $75 within 20 miles, $150 within 35 miles (Kerrville, Comfort, Johnson City), farther by quote. Transportation has no travel fee; the hourly clock runs from the time the van leaves Fredericksburg until it is back.
We keep water and snacks in the van. Wineries offer charcuterie and light bites for an extra cost. We recommend a good lunch before pickup.
A 50% deposit holds your spot. We charge the remaining balance to your card on file 5 days before your tour, with a reminder 7 days out. Tours booked within 14 days are paid in full at booking.
Cancel in writing at least 10 days before your tour for a refund, minus a $30 credit card processing fee. Cancellations within 10 days of the tour are non-refundable. See our full policies for details.
Yes. Private guests choose three wineries from our list, and we reserve each stop. Add the Tasting Pass or order by the glass at each one.
Yes, where the wineries allow it. Email winetours@absolutecharm.com and we'll help plan around it. No pets.
Yes. It's your group, your driver and your itinerary, billed by the hour with a 5-hour minimum. You plan the day and make your own winery reservations, or ask us to help. If you'd rather have the day planned, reserved and hosted for you, that's the Private Wine Tour.
