About the winery
Ron Yates, whose family has worked Texas soil for seven generations, worked at Spicewood Vineyards before buying that label and launching his own brand in Hye in 2016. The winery opened a new 8,800 sq ft tasting room on its US-290 property, overlooking estate Tempranillo vines.

Tempranillo-focused reds and blends like Amalgamation (2019 vintage rated 93 by James Suckling), plus Cabernet Franc, Viognier, Cinsault Rosé, traditional-method sparkling and The Get Together boxed wines.
