About the winery
Halter Ranch was founded in 2000 in Paso Robles, California, by Swiss entrepreneur Hansjörg Wyss, who named it for his mother, Alice Halter. The 2,700-acre estate has 237 acres of CCOF-certified organic vineyards; winemaker Kevin Sass leads operations. Ground broke on the Texas tasting room in November 2022.
