About the winery
Owned by vintners Jim and Dawn Carter of Carter Hospitality Group, whose South Coast Winery Resort & Spa in California opened in 2003; Carter Creek opened in 2019. Kim and Jon McPherson collaborate on the winemaking. Recent honors include two in the 2026 Texas Vintners Cup.
